My fellow Charleston Symphony Orchestra League Show House Designer, Terry Stephenson, is the owner of a charming little antique shop on Upper King.

I stopped by with CSOL designer, Lauren Messina, and enjoyed seeing some of the treasures she’s discovered while traveling France. I loved the antique French chocolate tins, and think it would be super smart to fill them with something yummy from Macaroon or Christophe as a lovely hostess gift. Don’t miss the Swedish clock with multiple layers of patinas from ages past. Of real interest to Charlestonians are the oyster stick mirrors, fashioned out of antique French oyster sticks. All the while you are perusing these beautiful collectibles, Terry will delight you with their history and fun stories of her travels.

Juxtaposition is definitely on our list of Charleston Favorites!

Until next time,

Alexandre
